Every girl wants to look effortlessly cool on their holiday and at the airport.
Who knows, you might meet the love of your life there.
For this reason, we spend hours crafting the perfect outfit, browsing online, just hoping we find something flattering.
But sometimes, despite our efforts, we seem to miss the mark. Instead of effortless, our outfits look uncoordinated or try-hard.
Sometimes all you need is some inspiration.
That’s why I’ve compiled this blog post full of aesthetic airport outfits that hit different. So if you’re a type B planner like myself, I’ve got you, girl.
You’re gonna look so good on your holiday, I promise. All the boys will be after you.
Outfits airport tips
Girls, overly styled and try-hard outfits are out this year because being a cool girl at the airport is all about looking effortless. But there is a method to creating an effortless look, especially when traveling. So get your pen and paper down and take notes.
Layer strategically.
Airports are cold, girls, no matter where you’re going, which makes me think we need to layer and have the layers on. But let’s be real, having many different layers can look messy. So stick to two layers: a lightweight knit and a breathable T-shirt is always a winner.
Wear matching sets
Girls, the days of matching sets looking like pajamas are gone. All the cool girls are wearing matching sets this year, so why don’t you give it a go?
Stick to a color palette.
Choose one pop of color instead of wearing every trendy color under the sun. Add one pop of color and leave the rest of the outfit neutral.
This is the best styling tip I’ve come across in a while. This lets the brighter color do the talking, while the rest of the outfit stays subtle and aesthetic.
Latte girl outfit
There’s something so quirky about making your outfit inspired by your favorite beverage. It’s giving main character energy.
This outfit, showcased by a stunning angel, is inspired by the classic strawberry matcha drink.
All you need to recreate this look is light green trousers, a cute white tee, and a light pink bubblegum cardigan.
To make this 2026-coded, only button the top button of the cardigan.
This outfit will pair perfectly with a slick back hairstyle, Converse, and of course, a strawberry matcha.
If you wonder why the increase in people dressing inspired by their drinks, Molly May has created this trend. Basically, Molly May is an influencer from Love Island UK who had an Adidas campaign recently, and she’s inspired this concept. Basically, Molly May designed a pair of Adidas shoes, ones inspired by matcha.
In her YouTube video, the topic Molly May describes how she relates to her girls, whether they’re a matcha girl or a latte girl.
Both choices relate to different personality types.
The matcha girl is calm, collected, loves yoga and Pilates,
whilst the latte girl is a little chaotic, career-driven, and prefers going to the gym.
The point I’m trying to make with this comparison is that clothes are more than functionality.
They are one of the avenues in which we as girls express ourselves in the world, and which the world sees us, who we are, and who we want to be. Wow, that was a ramble, but as you can see, I’m really passionate about this outfit.

Positive vibe outfit idea
This outfit screams wearing joy in a really wholesome way. If you could encapsulate joy into an outfit, this would be it. All you need to recreate this outfit is a pair of yellow joggers that are straight-legged and a cute sweater. This look would be perfect with a light washed denim jacket and white Converse. So if you want to radiate positive vibes, this outfit is the one.

Coastal granddaughter outfit
Imagine this: you are going to a coastal location on summer vacay. Maybe, but you’re unsure of what you should wear to the airport. If this sounds like you, this outfit might be the one.
To recreate this outfit, pair a pair of boxer shorts in an oversized size, as it gives a more figure-flattering look. Girls, especially if you have a more rectangular figure like me, wearing oversized pants balances the hip-to-shoulder ratio, giving a more hourglass appearance.
Next size down in a white crop top.
A good hack is to shop in the kids section for this, as they often have smaller options, especially if you’re a smaller girl.
To complete the look, wrap your grandma’s favorite sweater or a blue knit that you found at the thrift store. And there you go, you’re ready for a chilly evening by the coastal town.

Ballet core outfit
Since the beginning of the year, the coquette trend has become more sophisticated, or so I’ve noticed.
It’s less tacky knee-high socks with ballet flats, and more like her older, more sophisticated sister.
The outfit embodies a newer aesthetic. All you need to recreate this is an oversized pink cardigan and a ruffle skirt.
This outfit would pair well with ballet flats and your favorite neutral handbag.

Boho beach girl
This outfit is perfect for light packer girls as it doubles as a beach outfit as well as an airport fit.
All you need is a classic striped tube top, matching headband, and white linen trousers. It’s giving effortless cool girl while still being prepared for any event.

Insta baddie airport fit
This outfit is a quintessential airport outfit of 2026. And I mean, you can see why.
It’s comfy, and it’s functional. It’s not giving try-hard. To recreate this outfit, pair a pair of grey flared leggings with a navy top in a smaller size than you usually go for.
I always size up in the leggings as they can be tight around the crotch area, and girls, we just don’t want that.

Butter yellow outfit
There’s something so in about butter yellow this year.
Perhaps it’s just the fact that it goes with everything.
This outfit is a perfect example of how to style butter yellow.
All you need to recreate this look is an oversized red and white t-shirt and a crop cami, and yellow straight-leg linen pants.

Mamma Mia inspired outfit
Mamma Mia has had a chokehold on most of us for the past year. And I mean, is it a bad thing? The outfits are so chic and calming at the same time. When I think of Mamma Mia, what I think of is calming colors, soft whites, and pastel blue.
To recreate this look, all you need is an oversized blue striped shirt, white linen pants, and a white cami.

That comfy queen look
To achieve this butter yellow and white look, pair what you had for the previous look, i.e., the white cami and the white linen trousers, with a butter yellow cropped cardigan.
And there you go, cute look.
