In this post, I will be showcasing 30 different styles of trinket girl nails.
What are trinket girl nails?
According to the internet, trinket girl nails are defined as
“A maximalist nail art style that emphasizes three-dimensional embellishment, mixed textures, and individualized design composition, transforming the nail surface into a curated, jewellery-like visual display.”
Trinket nails are all the rage this summer, and at a glance, they’re just a silly little trend. But I think it goes deeper than that. They are a sub-trend of the analogue trend. Which, if you didn’t know, is the younger generation’s way of preserving memories by showcasing them in a pretty way, either through journaling, scrapbooking, or on their nails.
If you’re anything like me, you love getting your nails done, but you don’t want to spend a lot of money without picking the right design. As I’m sure you are aware, the design possibilities with nails are endless, which is great,t but it can sometimes leave you feeling overwhelmed. No one wants that yucky feeling of overwhelm when getting their nails done! That is why I compiled a list of over 30 designs. I also explored whether they’re for you.
Siren nail design
• I love anything mermaid core, and these nails are just chef’s kiss. What makes them so unique is their iridescent finish, it’s a creamy pearl color with a pastel blue ombré effect. The gemstones and pearls add an extra special touch to an already perfect set of nails. What I’ve noticed this year is the return of silver in jewelry and nail designs. I think the contrast between colors is beautiful and would complement any skin tone.

• I feel like this is a design you either love or hate. Despite its polarity, it is one nail design that people will remember. So if you want to turn heads, this maximalist nail design is one to try out at your next nail appointment.

•This is one of my favorite designs, it’s for the artsy girls who want to showcase their painting skills. I love the Celtic spiral star motif. There is something playful yet witchy about this design.

• If you love bugs or maybe the film Ladybird, this design is for you. The funky colors beneath the ladybugs are an unusual combination, but it is cute.

•My favorite thing about long nails is that there is space for intricate designs, and these nails really represent that. My favorite nail is definitely the chrome beaded star. •If anyone’s a 90’s baby, these nails remind you of your childhood and everything Barbie-related. The pink iridescent glow is so nostalgic, not to mention the cute daisy flowers.

•These nails are if 2016 and 2026 had a baby. The chrome nails with star motifs represent 2026, whilst the pastels have 2016 written all over them. Style-wise, these are a great option as they are both futuristic and nostalgic.

•This design is such a great conversation starter; you can ask for your favorite motifs, and if someone asks you about your nails, you can talk about why you chose a certain charm. I like the minimalist base color as it goes with a lot of different outfit options.

• When I look at this design I’m immediately brought back to the 90’s I mean just look at the colors. The metallic colors really are back this year and I’m not complaining

What makes me a girl nail design
• This design reminds me of the trend us of the girly things we love from bows to cats. This design is customizable, I love the pink paint color of the design too.

• I titled these brain dump nails as the design seems to be a bunch of random things that strangely complement each-other.

•I love this design it reminds me of a picnic in a forest from the colors and motifs. This design could pair well with a cute red dress.
