How to pick the right salad dressing
If you’re anything like me, you struggle with finding a salad dressing that complements your salad. Below, I have written a short guide to choosing a dressing that complements your salad.
The truth is, there is no secret sauce to a perfect salad, but there are different components to ingredients that will make or break the taste of a salad. What I mean by this is that each ingredient serves a different role. Lemon and vinegar are acids, which brighten the salad and make it zingier. Whereas olive oil does the opposite, it smooths a salad. Pairing these together is the perfect match for a dressing.
